 Our Staff
At Applewood Learning Center, your child will spend their days under the guidance of a caring, nurturing, educated staff. Our teachers have college degrees, continue to advance their professional training, and are dedicated to providing a positive learning environment for children. Our entire staff is CPR and first aid certified. Our teacher-to-child ratios are much lower than state guidelines require, ensuring that your child will have plenty of one-on-one attention with our teachers. We are committed to providing a safe child-friendly environment. Our facility is equipped with a secured entrance, where only authorized visitors are allowed into the school. Dalene Wood is the owner and director of Applewood Learning Center. She has B.S. and M.E. degrees in Early Childhood Education. She has been working in childcare and education for over 15 years.
